Sewage Pump Station Foreman

REW MECHANICAL DIVISION is seeking a skilled worker for sewage pump stations. This individual should be able to be proficient in the following areas:

• Able to layout and design projects
• Knowledge of bypass pumping operations
• Knowledge of the operations involving dry & wet wells for sewage pump stations
• Able to perform rehab & maintenance of sewage pump stations
• Capable of assembling manufactured pumps, valves, and piping of various sizes
• Be able to communicate in a professional manner with clients and supervise co-workers

Other areas that are a plus:

• Reading blueprints
• Carpentry experience
• Concrete form and finish work
• Backhoe/excavator experience

Performs duties under the limited supervision of the Mechanical Project Manager. Must be able to work independently with other crew members to plan and complete routine and complex maintenance and repairs on the mechanical components of sewage pump stations. Occasional overtime, evening, weekend, and holiday work may be required. Applicants are subject to emergency call-out and are required to carry an electronic signaling device that enables him/her to respond to emergency situations.
